Celebrating breastfeeding!

From 1st – 7th August is World Breastfeeding Week, a great opportunity to celebrate and promote breastfeeding. Your Public Health Nurse will be able to give you great support and advice for breastfeeding and many PHNs are involved with support groups around the county. The support of other mums is really important when you are breastfeeding so why not find a breastfeeding support group near you. Have a look at the Parent Hub website under the services section but here are a few to get you started. Many of these are run by La Leche League or Cuidiú. Even if you are expecting your baby at the moment it can be great to go along to a Breastfeeding Support group before your little one is born.
